I graduated college in December 2023 with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Sustainability Studies. I graduated from high school in Maryland in 2020 during the pandemic. The summer before I entered 8th grade I decided to start this book review blog! I took a pause during college, but I'm looking to invest more time into starting it up again. My favorite book genres have been fantasy, dystopian, and realistic fiction. I review primarily YA books, but also some middle grade and adult books, and hope to expand into blogging about reading and books in general, not only reviews like I did so when I was younger.
Currently, I work in a lab as an associate scientist. I was a staff writer for my college's newspaper, where I worked to expand the articles related to science and bring attention to issues and concerns on campus. In addition to being a reporter for my high school’s newspaper, I was a Print Managing Section Editor for two years. I received a scholarship for being a newspaper student who was an advocate through articles and actions for social change and social justice. I was a Top 8 Finalist at the 2017 ESU Washington D.C. Branch Shakespeare Competition when I was a freshman.
